Until Easywash was developed the Canadian carwash industry lacked an eco-friendly carwash concept that delivers a high volume carwash with quality systems and support services in this predominantly Oil Company dominated industry.

Geoff Baker and Laura-Lee Normandeau, the Founders of Easywash, the World’s Most Eco-Friendly Carwash Company, have searched throughout BC for the perfect site for their second location and they believe they found it in Kelowna. The proposed site is 1715 Pandosy St. which was formerly the South East corner of Pandosy and Harvey/ Hwy 97 prior to road realignment. More than 51,000 cars pass this site daily. The property is zoned C4 which permits carwash uses.

The site’s immediate proximity (and joint ingress/egress) to the newly constructed Chevron allows for excellent cross marketing and joint-venture opportunities as well as a constant flow of targeted customers. The site would be the closest commercial carwash to the downtown core which is seeing an influx of new high-rise construction. Typically high rise construction does not make allowances for carwashing areas.

Easywash Kelowna will be a single storey building and will be approximately 2800 square feet in size. The building will house 3 bays for the automatic carwashes as well as equipment room, store, washroom, manager’s office and Petwash area. Additionally, the site will feature eight do-it-yourself detail stalls with 5-in-1 combination vacuum, high power vacuum, spot remover, shampooer and fragrance. For customer comfort six of the eight spots will be covered by a canopy providing rain/snow cover in the winter as well as shade in the summer.

The carwash will be open 24hrs a day and offer a variety of four different carwash options ranging from $10 to $20 as well as monthly memberships which start at $49 per month. Customers pay via an automated cashier and remain in their car for a swift 3-6 minute high quality carwash experience. This well lit unique building will give customers an excellent view of all activities while processing 45+ cars an hour.

The Easywash systems can be easily conveyed to franchisees and carwash locations can operate with a minimum number of employees. Our North Vancouver site is currently operated by one manager, one full-time and two part-time employees plus a part-time bookkeeper.
